I Love My Enemies

Psalms 25:8-9 (AMP)

"Good and upright is the Lord; therefore will He instruct sinners in [His] way.

He leads the humble (meek) in what is right, and the humble (meek) He teaches His way."

 

There are  some people who loathe us,

Keep gentle to them,

Hatred will confuse themselves.

There are some people who are jealous with you,

Keep doing good things to them,

Jealousy will stress them.

  

 There are some people who talk angrily when you have different arguments with them,

Keep listening gracefully,

Anger will make them short of breath.

Proverbs 25:21-22 (AMP)

"If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

For in doing so, you will heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord will reward you."

This is not to be understood as a revengeful act intended to embarrass its victim, but just the opposite. The picture is that of the high priest (Lev. 16:12) who, on the Day of Atonement, took his censer and filled it with “coals of fire” from off the altar of burnt offering, and then put incense on the coals to create a pleasing, sweet-smelling fragrance. The cloud or smoke of the incense covered the mercy seat and was acceptable to God for atonement. Samuel Wesley wrote:/ “So artists melt the sullen ore of lead,/ By heaping coals of fire upon its head:/ In the kind warmth the metal learns to glow,/ And pure from dross the silver runs below.”

No Future In The Past

No Future In The Past

Romans 12:12

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." (NIV)
"Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer" (KJV)

Pleasing thoughts about future may not exist, if your mind is full of past sorrow.

If you look back too many, you will go to that way.

Your past can not be changed, but you can still change tomorrow with today's action.

A secret of happiness is avoiding to consider about your past for a long time

Paul said:

"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

(Philippians 3:13-14)

You will not get a better tomorrow, if you still think about yesterday.

Remember! Your past is not the same as your future.

The challenge is not about managing time, It is about managing yourself.

Every time is precious; second, minute, hour, day, month, year will keep going along the way.

None can stop and none can repeat the past moments. All those things are merely memories.

Release yourself from the chains of past!

Live your life today to create a better future!

Make your precious time to be a beautiful memory before everything is too late.

Psalms 33:11

Grandpa and His Two Grandsons

Grandpa and His Two Grandsons

There are two grandsons who got a bar of chocolate from their grandpa.

First grandson grabbed the chocolate vigorously from the grandpa's hands and ate as fast as possible--because he was afraid that his chocolate would be taken by his brother.

Second grandson got the chocolate with a thankful heart. He tore the package slowly and said to his grandpa, "Grandpa, you reserved the first part of this chocolate. The grandpa was so touched.

After finishing the part, the grandpa said to his second grandson, "Wait a minute my grandson! I still have another thing for you." The grandpa went into his room and returned to bring a handful of candies for his lovely grandson.

From this story, we can understand that the first grandson is an egoist person. On the other hand, the second grandson is a thankful person for the blessing that he got.

As a son or daughter of God, we often forget the blessing that we got should be offered to God first. 

Then, God will bless you more than you can ever imagine.

"Do It Anyway"

Do It Anyway

I found this word "anyway" in a Cambridge dictionary, the meaning is "whatever else is happening, without considering other things."

This famous poem of Mother Teresa uses many words of "anyway", which strengthens the whole meaning of this poem.

"People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. 

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. 

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. 

Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. 

Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. 

Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. 

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. 

Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway"

Connecting Dots

Welcome back to my blog! Are you ready to fill this new page in 2014?

This time, I will not share a long story to you. I do believe you already have your own motives and resolutions. I will only share motivational words from Steve Jobs and some encouraging God's words to strengthen you in 2014.

I also experienced and felt a lot of things, problems, and struggles that I did not understand during 2013. But, after I looked back and connected the "dots", I realize that the "dots" are connected each other and made who I am right now.

Let us be ready to face the coming "dots" yang ada di tahun 2014, and I do believe you will be amazed after connecting the "dots" later on.

Selamat datang kembali dalam blog saya! Sudah siap untuk mengisi lembaran baru di tahun 2014?
Kali ini, saya juga tidak akan panjang lebar bercerita karena pastinya Anda sendiri sudah memiliki motivasi dan resolusi masing-masing. Saya hanya akan memberikan satu motivasi dari Steve Jobs (Pendiri Apple) dan beberapa Firman Tuhan yang bisa menguatkan Anda di tahun 2014.

("Kamu tidak bisa menghubungkan titik-titik dengan melihat ke depan.." "kamu hanya dapat mengubungkan titik-titik tersebut dengan melihat ke belakang. Jadi, kamu harus percaya bahwa titik-titik tersebut pada suatu saat akan terhubung di masa yang akan datang. Kamu harus percaya pada sesuatu-keburuntunganmu, takdirmu, kehidupanmu, karma, apapun.. itu telah membuat hidup saya berubah.")

Saya pun merasakan banyak hal-hal yang tidak saya mengerti di tahun 2013. Namun, setelah saya melihat kembali dan menghubungkan "titik-titik" masalah yang ada, saya menyadari bahwa titik-titik tersebut terhubung satu sama lain yang menjadikan saya seperti sekarang ini.

Mari bersiap untuk menghadapi "titik-titik" yang ada di tahun 2014, dan saya percaya Anda akan kagum setelah "titik-titik" tersebut dihubungkan nantinya.
